Born May 2, 1954 in Riverview Hospital, Red Bank, NJ. Died March 23, 2024 in Jersey Shore Center in Eatontown, NJ. Son of John and Hattie Green of Red Bank, NJ

James attended Red Bank Public School System. Graduated from Red Bank Regional High School in 1972. Served in the U.S. Army for 6 years with an honorable discharge.  Married twice.

Worked at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, NJ for 25+ years and at Seals Eastern in Red Bank, NJ for a number of years until he retired. He was a workaholic. He enjoyed traveling, listening to music and attending concert and plays.

He is predeceased by his parents John and Hattie Green, two brothers John and Edward of Red Bank, NJ. James is survived by his sister Gayle Green Johnson of Florida. Devoted friend Ethel Brandon also from Red Bank, NJ. He also leaves a host of cousins and friends.

A celebration of life will be planned for a later date.
